An Officer Pilot Badge, C.1940 Hold PROTESTANTIIn silver gilt, illustrating a five pointed gilt star in the centre backed by emanating rays, framed by arching copper gilt feathered wings on either side, with chrysanthemum petals at the base of each wing, a two bladed propeller placed horizontally at the base, measuring 39. 2 mm (w) x 54. 5 mm (h), with bronze clip attachment, overall gilt loss on the wings, contact marks, very fine.
