7 hectare block of 43 year old vines planted in sandy soils

the nose is perfumed with perfectly ripened dark blackberry

with a persistent finish and beautiful crisp natural acidity

rosehip a little spice the wine finishes lone dry with lovely refreshing acidity

Bernard Dugat-Py Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2017 fcw Pinot Grigio is a new"Allocation only, email wine@worldwine. com. au to secure allocation" 30% new oak and 25% whole bunch. The vines are between 30 50 years old. The Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes comes from 10 parcels spread across the village. Dark fruit nose, bit of reduction, then good perfume; a different kind of cherry intensity. Very fine tannins but a big wine. Lots of depth but with a light touch. Fine texture, long; finishing on the fruit.
