A Bucharest Rescue Society Badge, C.1930 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac In July 1853A round badge, the centre shows a woman nursing a patient on a silver medallion riveted to the badge, under which is a red enamelled cross with oak leaves between the arms, circumscribed by the name SOCIETATEA DE SALVARE DIN BUCURESTI in gold over blue enamel, the reverse plain except for a horizontal pin, hinge, and catch, measures 33. 87 mm in diameter, and is in extremely fine condition.
