A rare and exceptionally well preserved 1972 Munich Summer Olympics torch, of multi piece assembly and constructed of nickel plated non magnetic metal steel, featuring a handle bearing engraved inscriptions of SPIELE DER XX. OLYMPIADE and MNCHEN 1972 flanked by Olympic rings, culminating in a screw on cap bearing a makers mark of KRUPP for the famous Essen based steel manufacturer, topped by the firms
