Germany, Third Reich. A Rare Danzig Cross, Ii Class With Case, By Hülse GTRexclude and to Colonel in 1870(Danziger Kreuz II. Klasse). Instituted 31 August 1939 by Albert Forster. (1939 1940 issue). A rare Danzig Cross, II Class, constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a horizontal pinback, consisting of an elongated Cross Patte, the obverse with gilded and white enameled arms, overlaid by raised gilt crosses and a crown in a Danzig coat of arms motif, the reverse with dual visible rivets
