Footnote: The Cobourg Heavy Battery, raised in Cobourg, Ontario, was a First World War unit of the Canadian Garrison Artillery that served overseas as part of the heavy artillery formations supporting the Canadian Corps. Equipped with large calibre guns designed for counter battery fire and long
