Constructed of silvered feinzink, the obverse bearing a raised leftward facing profile of a Heer soldier wearing a Stahlhelm, circumscribed by inscriptions of 3. PZ. AUFKLRUNGSABTLG. 7 and 4. PANZERDIV., the reverse bearing a central raised 1939 Iron Cross I Class, flanked by laurel branches, above a date of 14. 7. 1941, and topped by an inscription of PROPOISZK indicating recognition of the units capture of
