Germany, Imperial. A Bremen Hanseatic Cross Auction Archive his flying hours totaled 1761(Hanseatenkreuz). Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte, the obverse with red enameled arms, with a red enameled centrepiece bearing a silvered coat of arms of the city of Bremen, the reverse with a central inscription of FR VERDIENST IM KRIEGE 1914 (FOR MERIT IN WAR 1914), measuring 39. 72 mm (w) x 43. 86 mm (h), 19. 7 grams, in better than very fine condition.
