Germany, Luftwaffe. A Winter Field Cap, By August Schellenberg Auction A 1929 King's Competition Medal(Luftwaffe Pelzmtze). An extremely well preserved Luftwaffe winter field cap, constructed of field grey wool. The cap is surrounded by multi piece fold down side walls, consisting of frontal and reverse visor with ear flaps, lined on the exterior with high quality rabbit fur. When not in use, the ear flaps meet in the centre of the crown and are secured together with dual drawstrings. The interior is fully encompassed by a multi piece grey rayon
