A large Kriegsmarine issued national flag, constructed of red cotton twill, bearing a double sided dyed white disc overlaid by a black mobile swastika, reinforced along all edges with multiple rows of machine stitching to mitigate fraying in harsh conditions aboard vessels, the hoist edge further reinforced with a layer of white cotton featuring a hollow channel through which is looped a rope, the former bearing a makers mark of
