40's Black Velvet Rhinestone Button Beret Hat by Leslie James black midi skirt Shoulder to Hem: 35�۝Vintage beret from the late 1940's to early 1950's. Body is black velvet styled with a little upturn in the front and 2 underneath points to keep it upturned. On the back is an array of rhinestone buttons shaped in a V which I believe indicates victory which was a common theme after WWII. Interior is lined in a black twill with the standard petersham ribbon. Excellent condition but 4 of the buttons are missing some small rhinestones. Tagged a size 22,
